why will my john deere riding lawn mower not move?
My John Deere L118 will not move. It starts and runs but will not go forward or reverse.
I have checked the drive belt. It has a few cuts in it but seems to look ok otherwise. The mower will move very slowly.
Answer:
Sounds like the drive belt is worn or broken. That would be the first thing to check. It may have come off the clutch pulley.
